The following general education courses are available to all UW-Madison Online students. It is important to note that courses offered through the College of Letters & Science are not visible when initially browsing in the Course Search & Enroll App. Instead, students can find and enroll in these courses by searching by class number in the Course Search & Enroll app. The corresponding class numbers are listed below next to each course.
The following courses are offered during the first 8-week session period. Instructional dates are Wednesday, September 7th through Friday, October 28th.
The following courses are offered during the second 8-week session period. Instructional dates are Monday, October 31st through Thursday, December 22nd.
*An asterisk (*) next to a course name indicates that there are prerequisites to taking that course. Reference the Course Search & Enroll app or the Guide to identify prerequisites.
School of Human Ecology students have priority enrollment in these courses. After a certain amount of time, any remaining open seats will be open to students from other schools to enroll in. Consult with your AC Advisor if you are a WSB or L&S student interested in one of these courses. Students can find and enroll in these courses by using the ‘OUD Reserved Section’ filter under Reserved Sections in the Course Search & Enroll app.
